CSE HTML Validator Standard Edition

CSE HTML Validator for Microsoft Windows is a powerful, easy to use, user configurable, and all-in-one HTML, XHTML, CSS, link, spelling, and accessibility checker. CSE HTML Validator helps eliminate website problems that cause visitors to leave your website. It increases your productivity and saves you time and money. Unlike many other HTML checkers, CSE HTML Validator features an unusually powerful custom syntax checking engine that is specifically designed to check HTML, XHTML, and CSS.

CSE HTML Validator Standard offers all the same powerful features (with a few exceptions) of CSE HTML Validator Professional. Both standard and professional editions offer the exact same level of powerful syntax checking, including CSS, accessibility and link checking. The only differences between the professional and standard editions are listed in the following table. Also see the comparison chart.

1The standard edition can be upgraded to the professional edition at any time by paying the difference in price.

2The Batch Wizard lets you easily validate, spell check, tidy, and/or link check multiple files and/or URLs (and more). It will generate a neatly formatted HTML report with the results. It can also check URLs and follow the links in the URLs to check an entire small to medium sized web site or part of a large one. The Batch Wizard is not included in the standard edition.

3The Configuration Editor lets you customize the validator messages, letting you change the text of many messages. You can also change the message type (for example, you can change a warning message to an error message). The Configuration Editor also lets you add your own validation messages, as well as new tags and attributes. The Configuration Editor is not included in the standard edition.

4The professional edition can output validation messages in XML format.

5A major upgrade is a change in version number of .1 or more, like from v6.5x to v7.0x. A minor update is a change in version number of less than .1, like from v6.52 to v6.53. All minor updates are free for both editions. Major upgrades of 2 or more levels are at additional cost. Upgrade pricing is subject to change at any time.
